Across the pond....isn't that America
Here is a summary of the amber warning area, temperatures down to 0 Celsius last night marking the second frost for Inverness this autumn so far.
Had to park across at the pond last night, lots of debris this morning, didn't have time to take any more but car park covered, quite a few branches around as I dropped daughter at the seafront this morning.
Moderate rain here since about 4am (on and off). Hardly any wind…. it’s been much more windy over the past few days.
Wind picking up here in Westbury after a mainly dry and calm morning. I managed to get out for a walk which I wasn’t expecting to do given the forecast. Even had a few brief glimpses of sun.
Wind gusts could reach 63mph in Inverness according to the Met office, this won't bode well for the autumnal colors as the wind will likely blow them off the trees.
